Mary Vaipapa, Financial Adviser
With a fresh, relatable approach and a genuine passion for helping people feel confident about their future, Mary makes conversations about insurance, KiwiSaver and financial planning easy to understand. She especially loves working with young families and Gen Z clients who are starting their financial journey, offering honest, practical advice that makes a real difference in people’s lives.
Before becoming a financial adviser, Mary worked in early childhood education, hospitality and tourism — roles that developed her strong people skills and a deep love for connecting with others. She’s seen firsthand, both as a teacher and an adviser, how deeply families can be affected when the right cover isn’t in place.
"Advice should feel empowering, not overwhelming," Mary says. "When those unexpected moments in life happen, good advice can make all the difference, especially during claims, when it truly matters."
Born in Australia and raised in Rarotonga, Mary holds the New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services Level 5 (Life, Health and Risk; and Investments) as well as Level 5 and 6 Diplomas in Early Childhood Education and Care. She has a deep appreciation for community, nature and living simply, and enjoys cooking and baking for friends and family, gardening, arts and crafts, and staying active.
Mary values being part of the Advice4Life team, where clients’ needs come first and integrity matters. “We’re not just ticking boxes, we’re truly making a difference in people’s lives. It’s inspiring to be part of a company that puts people first.”

"I believe in honest, practical, and quality advice that empowers people to make confident decisions for their future.”
