Seth Rackham, Financial Adviser
Seth joined the financial advice industry in 2024 and is one of the newer members of the Advice4Life team. Before that, he spent eight years in the corporate IT sector, building client relationships through trust and honest conversations. He’s carried that skillset into financial advice, where he focuses on understanding each client’s unique situation before guiding them through their options.
“I love being an adviser because it allows me to make a real impact in people’s lives. Taking the time to understand my clients’ goals and the risks they face means I can provide tailored advice, so they can make well-informed decisions with confidence.”
Seth is particularly passionate about helping clients make the most of their KiwiSaver, especially young families looking to build long-term wealth. He believes it’s not just a smart investment tool for harnessing the power of compounding returns — it also helps shift perspectives, so people feel less financial stress and more empowered and confident about their finances.
With so many options in the market, Seth believes having an expert to guide his clients is essential. “There’s no one-size-fits-all solution when it comes to insurance or investments. Good advice makes the process simpler and ensures you’re not over-insured, or under-insured — you’re just well-prepared.”
Seth holds the New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5) with strands in Insurance and Investments. Based in Papamoa, he makes the most of the local beaches and fishing in summer, and heads to the mountains to snowboard during winter.
When asked what he values most about Advice4Life, Seth says, “Advice4Life is a great team that provides genuine support for its advisers, which means clients get access to exceptional, personalised, well-informed advice.”

“The right advice can turn uncertainty into a clear and confident plan, and that’s where the value really is.”
