Paul Jack, Financial Adviser

Life can be full of challenges, minor and major – and as Paul says, the right level of coverage can mean the difference between smooth sailing and barely staying afloat on rough financial waters.

Born and raised in the Hawkes Bay, Paul has always been driven to help others. After working in various management roles in the food industry, including owning his own sales and distribution business for more than a decade, he found his true calling in the financial services sector.

“As a financial adviser, I value the time I spend interacting with clients, getting to know what’s important to them, and addressing their concerns about future events that may throw off their plans and goals,” Paul says. “It’s rewarding to have the knowledge, competence and tools to provide timely, needs-based advice. And I’m happy to help my clients navigate the complexities of risk insurance.”

His philosophy on insurance is as simple as it is powerful: “The quality of our journey through life is not guaranteed. The way to achieve it is by having a plan for the challenges that might come up and hold us back. Whether that’s experiencing a health issue, income loss, or leaving loved ones prematurely, insurance is there to cushion the financial impact – for you, your family, and your business.”

A man of many interests and hobbies, outside of work you can find Paul and his wife hitting the road with their caravan every chance they get. Or you may stumble upon him somewhere in the great outdoors, hunting and bushwalking. But Paul is not all about adventure and action: he also loves a good game of pool and nothing more than a friendly competition at the table. Plus, with a large family and six grandchildren living nearby, there’s never a dull moment in his house.

“It makes sense to incorporate appropriate insurance coverage in any financial plan, to be better prepared for whatever comes your way.”
