Becs Drummond, Business Support Manager

With an extensive background in leading large teams, Becs Drummond plans, directs and coordinates activities in support of Advice4Life’s growth.

Becs’s professional journey began in the corporate sector in the United Kingdom and Ireland, where she worked in unit trusts before returning to New Zealand. Back home, she soon started an over seven-year tenure with ANZ, leading teams within Banking Operations and then transitioning into roles as a business and change analyst. In the final three years at ANZ, she moved into a communication role supporting the ANZ and National Bank branch networks.

After taking a well-deserved break to focus on motherhood, Becs decided to shift her career trajectory. In 2015, she officially left the corporate world to start Advice4Life with her husband Carl.

“We knew that, when it comes to financial advice, one size doesn’t fit all. So, we wanted to build a business based on integrity and client-focused solutions,” Becs says. “That vision is now a growing organisation which strives to empower our clients to help make well-informed decisions about their future.”

Becs’s broad-ranging professional expertise has helped shape the way Advice4Life operates. She effectively supports all facets of the business, contributing to our ability to provide great services to clients.

“What I enjoy the most about being part of the Advice4Life team is our vibrant team culture,” Becs says. “We’re focused on providing a supportive, forward-thinking environment for our advisers – a space where everyone works collaboratively towards achieving the same goal: supporting good client outcomes.”

When Becs is not helping the Advice4Life team thrive, she loves spending quality time with her family, especially at the beach and visiting family in Australia.
